Three days, one small bag, and no fixed plans. We took the early train in and let the city set the pace: coffee first, then whichever street looked most interesting from the corner we happened to be standing on.

Summer Is Almost Here
You can tell by the light. The evenings stretch a little further each week, the market stalls have switched from root vegetables to berries, and the cafe on the corner has dragged its tables back onto the pavement.
It Snowed All Day
The forecast promised flurries and delivered a whiteout. By mid-morning the street had gone quiet, the cars were soft white mounds, and the only sound was a neighbour scraping a windscreen somewhere out of sight.
