Three days, one small bag, and no fixed plans. We took the early train in and let the city set the pace: coffee first, then whichever street looked most interesting from the corner we happened to be standing on.
The photo above is from the lookout on the second morning, the whole city laid out under a haze that burned off by noon. Everyone with a camera was up there, and nobody was talking.
We came home with sore feet, a full memory card, and a list of places we did not get to. Which is, of course, the reason to go back.
